Bohon is a marketplace-driven grocery and e-commerce delivery platform designed to connect customers in Bangladesh with verified grocery stores, retailers, and online merchants. The app enables users to order groceries, daily essentials, household products, and lifestyle items with secure payments and reliable last-mile delivery.
Bohon supports local businesses by providing logistics, marketplace visibility, and technology-driven delivery management.
2. User Data Policy (Google Play User Data Requirements)
2.1 Data Collection Practices
Bohon collects only the data necessary to operate and enhance the service:
• Personal Information: Name, phone number, address, email…
• Location Data: For delivery address, nearby vendors, and courier tracking.
• Device Information: Device ID, OS version (for fraud prevention and performance).
• Payment Information: Processed securely via third-party gateways (Bohon does NOT store sensitive card data).
• Usage Data: Browsing behavior, order history, analytics to improve app functionality.
2.2 Data Usage

The app does not contain:

All products listed by vendors are reviewed to ensure compliance with local laws and Google Play’s policies.

14. Account & Data Deletion Policy
Bohon provides users with clear and accessible options to delete their account and associated personal data in compliance with Google Play’s Account Deletion requirements.
14.1 User-Controlled Account Deletion
Users can request account deletion through the following methods:
1. In-App Deletion Option
o Users can delete their account directly from the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account).
o This permanently deletes their profile information, addresses, order history, and saved preferences.
2. Online Deletion Request Form (Mandatory for Google Play)
o Users who do not have access to the app can request deletion via our online form:

o Verification will be required to ensure security.
3. Email Request
Users may email our support team to request deletion:

o The request must include the phone number or email associated with the account.
14.2 What Data Gets Deleted
Once a deletion request is confirmed, Bohon will delete:
• Personal details (name, phone, email, address)
• Profile information
• Order history connected to the user profile
• Saved locations and preferences
• Support chat logs
• Analytical identifiers tied to the account
This deletion is permanent and irreversible.
14.3 Data That May Be Retained Temporarily
Certain data may be retained only when legally required or for legitimate operational reasons, such as:
• Transactional/financial records (required for tax, audit & regulatory compliance)
• Fraud prevention and security logs
• Aggregated or anonymized analytics data that cannot identify the user
This retained data is not used for marketing, profiling, or any user-related decision-making.
14.4 Deletion Processing Timeline
• Most deletions are processed instantly.
• Some data removal (including backups) may take up to 30 days.
• Legally required retention data is kept only for the minimal required period.
14.5 Reinstatement
Once deleted, user accounts and their data cannot be restored.
A new account must be created to use Bohon again.
14.6 Third-Party Service Deletion
If users made payments or connected with vendors/delivery partners, Bohon will also:
• Notify third-party gateways and logistics partners to remove linked identifiable data
• Ensure compliance with their individual data retention policies
14.7 Children’s Data (If applies)
Bohon does not target children.
Any mistakenly created minor account will be deleted upon request by email or app form.
